This is where you will find the footballing stars of the future and the man the press are calling the next Cristiano Ronaldo, Armindo Tué Na Bangna or simply the name on the back of his shirt Bruma, a nickname given to him by his parents that means traveller.
Rising through the ranks of Sporting Lisbon’s academy, the same place that produced Cristiano Ronaldo, Nani and Ricardo Quaresma scouts are saying that Bruma is showing the same ability they had when they were 18-years-old.
Born in the former Portuguese colony of Guinea-Bissau the Portuguese striker is the tournaments current leading scorer with five goals, and is attracting a lot of speculation from many of Europe’s top clubs who see the striker as the next Ronaldo.
With Manchester City pursuing the young winger for some time it was thought that they were the front runners for his signature before Jose Mourinho decided that he wanted the starlet for Chelsea.
With one year left on his contract and Sporting Lisbon having financial problems you may see a bidding war for the future star this summer starting at around the £8 million mark.
My guess is that being Portuguese himself that Mourinho will have the edge, but you never know.
